Vegan and vegetarian festivals will be held in Bologna

Organic foods, raw foods, vegetarians and vegans. A few years ago, these terms were not as widely known as they are today. But nowadays they are becoming more and more popular. Followers of vegetarianism and veganism are trying to keep up with the latest trends in proper nutrition in the hope of preserving not only their health, but also the world around us.

Between the end of August and the middle of September, in the beautiful Italian city of Bologna, two events will be held that will be devoted to a food culture that denies the exploitation of animals. One of the events will be, perhaps, the largest vegan festival in Europe, which annually brings together thousands of tourists in Bologna seeking to learn something new about healthy eating.

We are talking about the vegan festival Vegan, which will be held from September 6 to 9. Another equally significant event is the Boetico vegetarian festival, which will be available from August 29 to 31.

All the action will begin on August 29 in Bologna in the park of Dei Giardini. Within the framework of the Boetico festival, nutrition experts will give lectures who will share their knowledge on how to eat properly and fully without eating animal products. This year, the organizers of this event paid special attention to yoga, inviting several experts to hold meetings dedicated to the conservation of our ecosystem. Among other things, guests of the festival will be able to taste dishes right in the park, where a bar-restaurant will be built, in which the best chefs will prepare refreshments of a strictly vegetarian orientation. You can find out the details on the festival's official Facebook page.

From September 6 to 9, Bologna will open its arms for vegans. Over the course of several days, numerous presentations of books on proper nutrition, as well as conservation of wildlife, will be held in the city. Nutritionists will also give lectures and master classes, who will be happy to share with the guests of the festival all the secrets of vegan food. The stars of the Italian pop stage will also perform at the VeganFest festival, but this time they will not sing, but will tell about their personal experience of veganism. The entrance fee for the festival will be five euros for three days. You can find out more on the festival website www.veganfest.it

VeganFest has been taking place in Italy since 2011. For several years now, this event has invariably attracted thousands of tourists, which has deservedly made it one of the largest vegetarian festivals not only in Europe but throughout the world. So, for example, in 2012 it was visited by more than 30 thousand people.

VeganFest partners are numerous organizations that promote healthy nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and animal welfare. In addition to world-famous organizations, the partners of this event are Italian pop stars, fashion magazines and large companies. All these people have one goal: to instill in everyone and everyone love for every living being on the planet.
